He’s dead. Obama got Osama.

During a nocturnal top-secret US Navy Seals operation in Pakistan, Osama Bin Laden went from Public Enemy Number One to fish bait.

Nearly 10 years after the horrendous, heinous 9/11 attack the mastermind is dead and gone. Mr Evil wont walk this earth ever again. Justice is done. In some shape.

It must have been a thrilling operation for those involved. High adrenaline. Heart on revenge, mind on tactics, and finger on the trigger. Amazing operation. For sure, Hollywood scriptwriters are hard at work. Steven Seagal in the lead role.

Osama has certainly stamped his place in history. Written in blood. Although it started all just as a middle class Saudi boy going to Afghanistan to fight the invading Soviets. A Mujahedin fighting the communists in Kabul. Aided by the CIA. Then the frustration with US military policies during the first Gulf war grew. The Mujahedin became seriously radicalised. The Saudi became blinded by hate and fooled by religious doctrine. Trips to Sudan and Yemen. And then back to liberated Afghanistan. But the liberated nation turned quickly into an Islamic state under the brutal control of the Taliban. Al Queda was born and in alliance with the cavemen from Afghanistan.

From there it just went worse and worse, and the terrorist mastermind started his bloody journey. Kenya. Tanzania. Indonesia. USA. That historic, painful, ugly, shocking, disgusting day in September 2001.

Public Enemy Number One was on the run and changed the world forever. And more carnage followed. Madrid. London. And several, smaller but still deadly, attacks in North Africa.

But the US Navy Seals now closed that open wound. Osama Bin Laden. Shot and killed.

And in his own house in Pakistan. A so called US ally but unstable, corrupt and not trustworthy. Bin Laden was not living in a cave in the border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He had his own house.... in the shadow of the main Pakistani military academy. Kick that. Amazing that the head of Pakistani Intelligence hasn’t resigned yet. Or maybe that just says it all.

And the White House decided not to make public any photos or video of the dead man. The bearded terrorist who is no more. Killed. Apparently the photos are gruesome. Brain matter. Shot in the head.

There are millions of opinions of course on the killing of the godfather of evil. One thing’s for sure. He is dead! For the conspiracy theorists..... If Osama was still alive the best thing he could have done the day after the raid is to make a video appearance with a stretched middle finger and the newspaper of the day to prove the date of the recording. That would have caused enormous damage to the US and rallied all nutters beyond the Al Queda terrorism brainwash. He didn’t..... cause he is rotting away at the bottom of the high seas of the world. A great white might have the final taste...

Of course accounts of the operation given by US officials always need to be taken by a grain of salt because everything is propaganda and spin. Except the simple fact that OBL is dead! The rest is detail and yes those details can be questioned. Never forget all the lies the Bush administration told the world and the UN about Iraq and the urgency to invade.

But for now let’s stick to the news that Bin Laden, the evil caveman, is no more.

Maybe his followers are urgently looking for a look alike to put in front of the camera. Maybe they placed job advertisements in the local Pakistani papers. Looking for a bearded man. Must look like an old uncle. Slow talker. Knows the Koran inside out and can quote at length from it. Anti US, anti West and anti Jewish rants welcomed too. Job comes with free house near Islamabad. Blood stained carpets will be removed before new lodger arrives.

Oh, and.... has Donald Trump asked yet for Osama’s birth certificate?

Or should we chase the birth certificate of his hairpiece?

With all this Navy Seal action in Pakistan we nearly forgot that the fighting in Libya is still going on, although it all looks very much like a stalemate. Although NATO has dropped some bombs and Gadaffi’s son Saif al Arab was killed. Joined forces with Osama. United in rot. Isn't it not the Muslim faith (without upsetting anybody!)that 'martyrs' get virgins in the after-life? Well... it's busy times for the virgins these days...

But there is a stalemate on the Libyan battlefield and in the political arena. Unclear which way it’s going. A divided nation at war with itself.

And meanwhile there was a royal wedding in London. The crowds. The dress. The ring. The kiss. The uniform. The guests (and the absentees). The queen. The trees in the church. The sexy sister-in-law.

As the ceremony was going on in London, dressmakers in China were already copying Kate’s wedding dress. It was done and for sale.... before the end of the church service. Crazy! Copyright issues? Intellectual property issues? No... not in China. The land of copy and paste.

Staying in China-land. Some airline is teaching its air-staff kung fu. The real deal. Not a cheap copy this time. Just in case passengers get out of control. So next time, when in China, the airhostess asks you if ya want chicken or beef, you better be polite. And smile,... just in case.
